Villas Rio Dulce Close to Completion
I'll let pictures do the talking this time...

Villas Rio Dulce and Beach Club Update
Hello all!
I've had more than a few questions regarding Villas Rio Dulce, so it's time to follow up with another blog.
We've been working hard finishing the building. As of right now all of the ceilings are done. Kitchens, windows, doors and A/C unit installations are close to completion. We'll try to install all of the plumbing and lighting accesories during May.
We're also quite proud of how the putting green in front of the building turned out, and the contrast of the grass, sand and ocean creates an astonishing view.
The Beach Club is also underway, construction started this past month, and will probably be finished before September.
Pictures say more than a 1,000 words. Enjoy!

Villas Rio Dulce Grey Work Completed

Dear Iguana Owners and Fans,
Last December 15th we proudly received the completed grey work and flooring/tiling for Villas Rio Dulce, our 16 unit condo building.
Lacayo Fiallos, the builders, did an amazing job. The building is looking great, with beautiful wood trim accents, Italian porcelanato flooring, imported bathroom tiles, and most importantly, gorgeous views of the ocean.

Now comes the really heavy part for me. Doors were manufactured during the building process, and now we're finishing them and preparing to install them. We're going to have two sheetrock subcontractors taking care of all of the ceilings, and I'm just about ready to hire the windows and sliding doors subcontractors. Interior's, the Mill's Pride dealer for Nicaragua, has their kitchens on the way, and will be installing soon.
It's a very detail-oriented process, but a lot of fun, and I'm eager to complete the building as soon as possible, and with the best finishing that I can do.
I leave you with a few more pictures.

Thanks, and until next time!

Villas Rio Dulce, Plaza El Pozo and Las Colinas Update
Time for a long overdue construction update.
We have been really busy in Iguana lately. 2007 saw the groundbreaking of Villas Rio Dulce, our top of the line beach front condo tower. A lot of progress has been made, and construction is now on the second story level.

The first building of Iguana's brand new commercial center, Plaza El Pozo, is getting really close to completion, as well as the first of six houses in the Villas Las Colinas complex. Below you can see photos the "Atracadero" building, which will soon house the long awaited Don Eloy's Bar & Restaurant.

Here are some pictures of the Las Colinas home, along with the gorgeous golf course view from it's second floor terrace.

All of us at Iguana can definitely feel the momentum gathering. We are working real hard to make Iguana the premier Golf & Beach resort in Nicaragua.
Until next time,

Villas Iguana and Villas Rio Dulce
I am definitely overdue for an update!

Things have been quite busy in the construction front here at Iguana. We are in a mad scramble to finish Villas Iguana as soon as possible and eager to start construction in Villas Rio Dulce.

Building 5 in Villas Iguana was finished in late May, the views from all of the condos are quite amazing. Here's a picture of what you would see from unit #19's living room.
Buildings 3 and 4 are getting close to completion as well, both of them are roofed and scheduled to be completed in June (bldg 4) and July (bldg 3). The pool has been completed and it's looking gorgeous. Here's a picture of the complex taken in early May.
We did have a small delay in the start of Villas Rio Dulce. We weren't quite happy with the results from the original soil analysis and ordered a more complete study. Because of the soil characterisitics in the area we wound up redesigning some of the foundations. We want you to know that we take every precaution in constructing our projects. Every condo, apartment and house in Iguana is built according to the strictest safety codes. If that makes the construction process a little longer, so be it. We are now looking at an early July start for the first foundation pour.
Until next time,
Francisco
