"Build It & They Will Come!"
Hey Iguana Fans,
One of my favorite movies of all time was Field Of Dreams. Remember how Kevin Costner kept hearing "Built it & they will come."
Well, I have been hearing it too!
I just thought I would share with you whose been coming to Iguana.... They are gentle, gracious, cute, funny, and some are even dangerous. I am not talking about SURFERS or GOLFERS!
Check out this wild life that recently started to show up. I have names for them all. Yes, the locals know not to harm or kill any of them cause they are one of my many daily joys out here.
You want their names:
Pedro the Python who lives by the lake
Helena the White Heron who loves eating out of the golf course water hazards
Paula the Porcupine lives above Ulrik's room
Wilfredo the White Face Monkey that we rescued and then took to a nature reserve
I haven't been able to catch a shot of the Randle's (the roadrunner family) or Barry the Black Panther! Yes, we have seen it many times at night by the wooden house hunting the rabbits. If I am lucky to snap a shot of him you will definitely get another Iguana wildlife update.
