Things Finally Getting Back to Normal at Iguana

Hola Iguana aficionados!
We have received a ton of emails from friends and family regarding how much water we took on these past few months. Thanks for your concerns and emails. This has been one of the heaviest rainfall years we have ever seen. From September 13th 2005 until October 23rd 2005 we received 40.5 inches of rain. The average rainfall is around 25 inches. The locals tell me that this year was more rain than the year hurricane Mitch hit Nicaragua. Now that our feet are dry we are back in full swing...

Yesterday we test fired the irrigations system for the entire golf course. The good news is we faced only two broken valves. With a little more good luck we will be test firing the two main golf course wells today. And finally on Friday with another stroke of luck we should receive our last shipment of Turf from the Four Seasons Polo grounds in Costa Rica.
Luis has posted speed limit signs at Iguana. No....We do not have a radar gun, but we do ask you mind the 30 kilometer speed limit. Luis will soon be posting Iguana signs on the main road showing distance to Iguana.
